Besides the top news and results we will provide up-to-date world top lists for javelin throw in the following categories: adult, junior and youth for both men and women. Our intention is to collect the latest official results from the whole world and make an up-to-date world top list available to you in one place.

Since this is the beginning of the year you will find the actual top lists quite interesting. Very few competitions were held during the first five weeks of 2013, most of them took place in the southern hemisphere. Once the season starts in March we will most certainly see a lot of 80m+ and 60m+ results in the list.

In the men’s competition the gap is very small between the leader Guillermo Martínez and the two Australians: Peacock and Farquhar. All of them are just below 79 meters, so we will yet to see the first 80m throw of the new year.

On the women’s side the European stars haven’t started yet, maybe the winter throw competition (13th European Cup Winter Throwing held in Castellon (ESP) on March 16-17) will bring us some remarkable results.
